Donald Trump presented on Tuesday a 21-point plan to leaders of the Arab and Muslim world for ending the war in Gaza, according to Axios.

The countries involved are Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan.

The plan includes:

  • The release of all hostages
  • An indefinite ceasefire
  • The gradual withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza
  • A governance plan without Hamas
  • A security force that would include Palestinians, as well as soldiers from Arab and Muslim countries
  • Funding from Arab and Muslim countries for the new administration in Gaza and for the reconstruction of the area
  • Partial participation of the Palestinian Authority

Trump asked for the leaders’ contribution, their support for his plan, and their commitment to take part in the “day after” scenario for Gaza.

The leaders of these countries set their own conditions. These are:

  • Israel must not annex further parts of the West Bank and Gaza
  • Israel must not continue the occupation of Gaza
  • Israel must not build settlements in Gaza
  • Israel must stop undermining the status quo of Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque

••Humanitarian aid to Gaza must be increased
