As the video shows, she appears to approach the animal, slow down, and then drive over it without stopping, while in her statement she said that she had not seen it and assumed it had moved away.

The incident took place on Thursday night, shortly after 9 p.m., and became known through a video showing the vehicle fatally injuring the dog, which was elderly, was named Sissy, and had been cared for by local residents for many years.
