The woman who ran over and killed a dog with her vehicle in Gastouni, despite video footage appearing to show that she had noticed its presence, was taken to the Pinios Police Station, and a felony case file is being formed against her for killing an animal.

The incident took place on Thursday night, shortly after 9 p.m., and became known through a video showing the vehicle fatally injuring the dog, which was elderly, was named Sissy, and had been cared for by local residents for many years.
