News

At 14:00 today, electronic applications open for beneficiaries and providers participating in the “2026 children’s summer camp accommodation programme” run by the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

The platform will remain open for applications until Tuesday, 26 May at 23:59. The programme concerns 70,000 vouchers for children aged 6–16 and will run from 15 June to 10 September for typically developing children, and until 20 September for children with disabilities of 50% or more.

The maximum duration of stay is 15 consecutive days, including arrival and departure dates. However, camps operating in the wildfire-affected municipalities of Istiaia-Edipsos and Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna in Northern Evia, as well as camps in the Region of Thessaly, may offer stays of up to 30 consecutive days.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through gov.gr using TAXISnet credentials. The application path is: Home – Work and Insurance – Camps – Public Employment Service (DYPA) Camp Programmes.

Eligible applicants are parents or legal guardians (foster parents, custodians, etc.) of beneficiary children who are:

  • employees working under private-sector dependent employment contracts,
  • insured with e-EFKA due to dependent employment, with unemployment contributions paid to DYPA at any time during the 12 months preceding the application deadline, or
  • unemployed individuals registered in DYPA’s Digital Registry of Job Seekers, with at least three consecutive months of unemployment by the application deadline date.

For divorced or married applicants, annual income must not exceed €16,000 or €24,000 respectively, increased by €5,000 per child. Single-parent families must have an income of up to €29,000, increased by €5,000 for each child after the first.

As highlighted in the official announcement, parents of children with disabilities of 50% or more are exempt from the scoring process, provided that the positions offered by providers are sufficient to accommodate all eligible children with disabilities. Additionally, for the first time this year, large families are also exempt from the scoring process and may participate in the programme as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
