Problems from the severe weather have been caused in other parts of Greece as well, with closed roads due to overflowing torrents and severe hailstorms in Laconia, as well as traffic issues in Corfu, after the collapse of a 40-meter wall in Moraitika, on the road that connects the city with the southern part of the island.
