Police shot a 20-year-old man in the head in Argos. He is hospitalized at Thriasio Hospital in very critical condition with a severe traumatic brain injury.
According to reports, the man ignored police orders to stop for a check and attempted to ram the police vehicle. He then fled on foot, tried to climb over a wall, and was struck by two bullets.
According to Kathimerini, police officers had trapped the 20-year-old near a well-known supermarket before he abandoned his vehicle. He then left his car at that location and attempted to escape on foot, at which point the officers opened fire. Investigators recovered 13 shell casings from the scene.
